Hi Guys! Today I have an interesting plant for you, a sensitive one! Its the Mimosa Pudica plant. Its from the Mimosa genus, Mimosoideae family and it grows in tropical climates. People find this plant fascinating because when you step on it, or your shoe lightly touches the plant, the leaves will close, thus it is called the Sensitive plant or "Puteri Malu" in Indonesian (which means shy princess). That is also why its branches have sharp prickles. There are many ways of using this plant in traditional medicinal uses, like the roots can be prepared and used for treating inflammation or fatigue.
I know think pic is not that great so I'll try to get a better one. That's all for today folks! :)
